Overview
If a candidate is in multiple jobs and does interviews in more than one, it is possible that the interviews will share certain questions, such as questions on work authorization or logistics. Since the answer to many such questions tends not to change frequently, this new feature allows the AI to detect questions that have already been answered in a recent interview, and it skips them to save the candidate time. This is a Beta feature.
Where to configure
- Organization defaults: Admin > Interview Settings (applies as the default for all jobs)
- Job overrides: Job > Configure > Settings (optional, depending on org requirements)

Feature Details
Scope
Currently, the feature is designed to apply only to questions that are the same, or clearly the same in intention. If there are minor differences between questions that might affect the candidate’s answer, it will err on the side of asking the candidate to make sure it doesn’t make false assumptions. Furthermore, if it determines there are questions to be skipped, it will ask the candidate whether there are any recent changes that may affect the answer to some questions, such as a relocation. Based on the candidate’s answer to this question, it will prioritize and ask any questions it was originally intending to skip to make sure it has up-to-date information. The AI will not skip broad questions like “Tell me about your experience with…” even if they are asked again as the answers to these questions may be highly job-dependent.Presentation
If a question is skipped, there will be an indication of this in the question grades, pointing to the interview where the candidate originally answered the question.Related
