Templates define the questions, coaching, and post-meeting output for Meeting Copilot and Autopilot. Open Meeting Copilot from the sidebar and choose Templates.

Creating a template

Click ”+ New Template” from the dashboard to open the template editor modal.

Edit templates with AI

From the Templates view, click Edit templates with AI to describe the template you want in plain language. The AI can:
  • Create, edit, or delete note templates based on your instructions.
  • Find a Job by name in your organization and reuse that Job’s configured interview script questions when building sections.
If several Jobs match the name you give, the AI will ask which one you mean before pulling questions.

Configure a template

Choose the meeting type, then add the sections and questions you want to cover. You can add, remove, and reorder sections and questions, or start from a summary template. Set the question response formats to match the information you want to capture. Choose your coaching annotations, context, redaction rules, and post-meeting actions in the same editor. See Meeting note templates for the available settings and how they affect the meeting. For Autopilot intake calls, include company or role-title questions in the template if you want them asked. Autopilot starts with the template questions without adding either question automatically.

Customize coaching annotations

In Coaching, click Add Annotation, then enter its title, color, and flagging instructions. Choose a Response format and provide options for multiple choice or formatting instructions for a custom format. Select the context sources the annotation needs. You can configure up to 6 annotation types, including built-in and custom types. Click Reset to built-in defaults to restore the built-in configuration. This overwrites in-progress edits in the section. See Coaching for the settings and built-in types.

Pinning templates

Pin the templates you actually use so they’re easy to reach. Click the star icon on a template card in the dashboard to pin or unpin it. Pinning is per-user — your pins are yours alone and don’t change what your teammates see. Pinned templates have two effects:
  • Surfaced first — they float to the top of the dashboard list and appear first (marked with a star) in the Template dropdown when you configure a note.
  • Scope the AI’s auto-suggestion — when Tenzo automatically suggests a template for a detected meeting and you have pinned templates, it only ever picks from your pinned set. If you haven’t pinned any, it falls back to choosing from all templates you can see, so auto-suggestion keeps working out of the box.

Duplicate or edit a template

Click a template row to open its editor, or use the copy icon on the row to create a duplicate.
